MIRROR OF MY DESIRES
Art therapy and performing arts course to strengthen self-esteem.
"MIRROR OF MY DESIRES" is a workshop inspired by the Evil Queen from Snow White, exploring the importance of observing oneself in the mirror with care and self-love. It's about integrating our separate inner parts, recognizing areas of shadow and light to create a more authentic image and reduce self-criticism. Despite initial challenges, working with the mirror strengthens self-esteem in a balanced way. Through art therapy and clowning techniques, this process transforms into a fun journey of discovery. The queen in Snow White had a living mirror that personified her fears and insecurities.
How often do we judge ourselves harshly? How often do we look outside ourselves for what we should find in our own reflection? Through introspective questioning and reflective exercises, each individual can forge a more positive view of themselves, empowering them to direct their energy toward personal growth. Self-knowledge empowers us by identifying talents, virtues, and areas for improvement, guiding our lives with greater certainty, focusing our energy on meaningful aspects, and avoiding superfluous worries. The individual and group process culminates in the creation of a collective drawing.
