SINOPSIS
The Secret Annexe "is a show inspired by the dramatic story of Anne Frank and her segregation in a hidden attic.
Claudia Cantone explores universal topics as the diversity, forced reclusion, the discovering of herself and of how the Human Being can use the creativity as a surprising weapon to survive also in extreme conditions, through the clown language.
These topics are crossed in their whole depth, using the innocence and poetic clown mask as vehicle, which allows each one to treat the human events - even the most tragic - with the sweetness and the innocence of a child.
It is a show without words, in order to make it possible to transmit the emotions and the meaning to all people just through the clown language, giving us hope for the future.
This show is a perfect connection between past and future. The story of the show could help us to remember what happened over the WWII, as well as us to remember us that something so bad, still happens.
